Party at the Wharf

Join us for Oundle’s “Party of the Year” – a fantastic evening of music and fun under the stars. Whether you just want to relax with friends, enjoy your own picnic, visit one of the food stalls The Wharf is the place to be. There will be a pay bar stocked with drinks, including beers from our hosts the Nene Valley Brewery.

This year’s headline act is Crocodile Mock! Led by piano-vocalist Iain Court, Crocodile Mock is the phenomenal live 8-piece band recreating the authentic sound of Sir Elton John.

Paying tribute to one pop’s greatest living artists isn’t easy, but Crocodile Mock’s high-energy performances are sure to please even the most die-hard Elton fans! Their setlist is filled to the brim with pop-rock classics, including ‘Your Song’, ‘I’m Still Standing’ and ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It the Blues’ – which are guaranteed to get everyone dancing.

Consisting of an 8-piece live band, this is a tribute with a difference – not just about impersonating Sir Elton John, but a show in its own right. Stunning to watch and playing the tracks with great energy, making them their own, Crocodile Mock will have you singing and dancing all night long! Expect a fabulously entertaining evening.

PaTW’s supporting act this year is The Houndogs, a hugely energetic 50’s style rockabilly trio of three brothers playing music by StrayCats, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley and more. Their shows are captivating and fun, and the chemistry between the boys on stage makes for a performance like no other. And the Party kicks off with a set from Northamptonshire firm favourites The B List, playing covers of some of your favourite songs!
