THURNING FAIRY TRAIL 2025
- Our wonderful family event takes place on May 10/11th this year, 12- 5pm.
- The Fairy Trail is situated in Thurning Village (near Oundle) in a section of the historic ‘Feast Field.’ In the small adjoining woodland spinney, there will be lots of Fairy Houses to spot!
- Look at the gnomes, hidden fairies, giant mushrooms and lots more! Fairy Quiz sheets available on arrival.
- The field offers enough space for people bringing their own picnics, but there will also be a BBQ, Bar and ‘Tea and Cakes Stall’ as well.
- We will have our usual comfy sofas to sit on, face -painting, children’s Tombola stall, mini fair rides, candy floss and our travelling Magician, ‘Adamos’, entertaining everyone on Sunday afternoon.
- If any families, or children, want to enter our ‘Fairy House’ making competition please drop of your creations to Thurning Village Hall on Friday 9th May between 10- 4pm. There will be prizes for the winners and houses will be judged later on Sunday afternoon. Winners will be notified by phone or email if you are not still at the event. - We are sorry but dogs are not allowed at this event.
- All proceeds will be to raise funds for Thurning Church, Village hall and we aim to give a donation to a local charity.
