Where the Wildflowers Grow
A never-seen-before environment in the Yarrow Gallery for the pupil-curated ‘Where the Wildflowers Grow’ art exhibition. With all-around sounds of nature, a vibrant projection and real trees, this will be an immersive experience that celebrates the importance of wildflowers and raises awareness of the growing concerns about biodiversity. We hope to draw people’s attention to these current issues in our native habitats and to remind them of the beauty and richness of nature through the artworks of pupils and staff from Oundle School and Kings School Peterborough. Inspired by the ‘renaissance’ of natural appreciation after lockdowns and the rising fears about our climate we have combined art, poetry and music with educational extracts about biodiversity in the UK. This exhibition will be a great opportunity to educate oneself about biodiversity, relax and appreciate the beauties of nature!
