Location: Oundle (can work from home but will be required to be in Oundle on occasions)
Type : Part time, self-employed, on average approximately 10 hours per week, but workload will vary, peaking around summer events

Job Description:
The role is to provide administrative support to a local arts charity, and would suit a self-employed person who is looking for additional hours and who lives in the Oundle area.
Creative Oundle is a small local charity with big ambitions and a forty-year history. Its mission is to inspire, educate and entertain using the power of the creative, cultural and performing arts to transform and enhance the local community’s quality of life.

If you are an energetic self-starter who is used to juggling a number of different tasks, and who would relish the opportunity to be part of a team which brings live performances and cultural events to Oundle, as well as fostering the talents of young musicians, then this role could be for you.

Key work areas:
• Communication and office administration – arranging and attending Trustees’ meetings; circulating Board papers; answering emails; keeping website up to date by liaising with local provider; communicating with Friends and volunteers via newsletter and Mailchimp; filing and maintaining documents on DropBox
• Publicity and marketing support – co-ordinating the content, design and printing of
advertising materials and occasional editorial; distributing posters in the local area
• Event management support – providing support to the Events Manager as required: booking venues and ensuring they are appropriately resourced; liaising with acts; liaising with volunteers

Person skills required
• Good interpersonal skills for dealing with people both in person and by phone/email
• Strong organisational abilities and the confidence to work independently
• Flexible approach – workloads can fluctuate depending on the time of year
• Computer literate and able to use the common IT tools for communication
• Someone who can maintain a calm, unruffled and professional approach
• Ability to use car on some occasions

Competitive rate of pay, depending on experience
