Relaxing Sound Bath Journey

As you may be aware, I completed my Sound Bath training and have been busy collecting a selection of interesting instruments in preparation for running beautiful sound experiences for you.

If you have never been to a sound bath before, you may be wondering what it is and why you should attend one…In short, you come along and lay down in a comfortable position while I play instruments, such as singing bowls, gongs, drums, rainsticks, shakers and chimes around (and sometimes on) your body. I may also share sung mantras too.

The idea behind Sound Bathing lies in vibration. The frequency of the instruments used are not just limited to the sounds we hear. The frequency vibrations that are inaudible to the human ear have been shown to have deeply relaxing and calming effects on the body and mind. You find out more about Sound Baths in my new blog post and the latest episode of my All things Yoga with Vicky podcast.

What do you need to bring?

Yoga Mat/comfortable mat to lay on, a couple of blankets (one to lay on and one for cover), a bolster or 2 pillows for under your knees, a cushion/pillow for your head (if you wish), extra clothing to keep warm while being in stillness.

I only have 10 spots for this session, so early booking is essential. Investment £20.

It’d be great if you can make it along – I am unbelievably excited to be able to offer a whole new dimension of practice in the form of sound!
